Animation : 3D – Unity, Fuse, Mixmo

For the final assignment in Animation, we worked in Unity to create a navigable 3D character in an application.

To begin exploring Unity, I created a character in Adobe Fuse, using pre-scanned 3D parts.

Next I brought the character into Mixamo to choose pre-animated actions. I had a lot of trouble with this step on multiple characters¬† I created, because the frame kept “sticking” together and not finding the texture linked to the skeleton.

 

And to get started learning Unity, I did the Unity tutorial on Roll a Ball…
